Favorite part of working at Total Solutions?

My favorite part of working at Total Solutions is working with multiple clients every day which means that every day is different.

What has been your most rewarding accomplishment working at Total Solutions?

I have a client that was using a software system that is older than me and my proudest moment was being able to find them a new software system that was perfect for their line of business. It streamlined a lot of processes and made running the business way smoother.

What would you be doing for a career if you weren’t an accountant?

To be honest I have no idea. I’ve always enjoyed math and working with numbers so I kind of ended up with the perfect career.

What is the best career lesson you have learned?

Never be afraid to ask questions.

What is something you learned in the last week?

It has nothing to do with my job, but I learned that the major interstates go in numerical order by 10s from the South to the North and by 5’s from the West to the East.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

I enjoy camping and boating, playing sand volleyball, golfing, traveling, watching sports, and hanging out with my new puppy Samson.

What is one thing you can’t live without?

Snacks. I love snacks.

Where is your favorite place to be?

Any golf course. I’m terrible but I’m improving so it’s becoming a lot more fun.

If you could be any fictional character, who would you choose?

Sherlock Holmes – He’s super smart and extremely witty.

If you could have dinner with any 3 people dead or alive who would you choose?

Kirk Ferentz, Derek Jeter, and Joe Rogan.

What’s the worst style choice you’ve ever made?

When I was a kid for some reason I thought a bowl cut was cool. I was wrong.

You have to sing Karaoke which song are you picking?

Not that anyone would want to hear it because I’m a terrible singer, but I’d pick Fishin’ in the Dark by The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.
