What is First Tee?
First Tee is a youth development organization that enables kids to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges. By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with a life skills curriculum, we create active learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that kids can carry to everything they do. We’re Building Game Changers through our junior golf programs.

What makes First Tee different?
First Tee is designed for every child, ages 6 to 16. Whether you have a lot of golf experience or you’re brand new to the sport, we have programs for you. With mentoring at the forefront, we give kids a safe place to grow with trained coaches who help them navigate challenges during golf lessons but more importantly, off the course.
What is the most rewarding part of working at First Tee?
The most rewarding part about First Tee is watching your youth naturally get more and more confident within every class! Not only more confident with their golf game but participating in group discussions and opening up to our coaches and peers about challenges they are facing. Kids are safe and always welcome in our programs and as soon as we gain their trust, their confidence blossoms.
Do you have any upcoming events?
Every 6 weeks we launch a new series of classes for youth ages 6 to 16 years old at all three of our program locations. All of our upcoming classes and special events can be found on our website or by emailing our Program Director Scott Stowe.
