Favorite part of working at Total Solutions?

My favorite part is the company morale. I really feel like I’m part of a great team here and valued as an employee.

What has been your most rewarding accomplishment at Total Solutions?

So far, the most rewarding accomplishment from working here has been taking on new challenges and being able to learn different aspects of the accounting world.

What Total Solutions client do you think everyone should visit?

Oh So Sweet by Tiphanie – the food is so good!

What would you be doing for a career if you weren’t an accountant?

If I wasn’t an accountant, I believe I’d still be in the math world somehow. Years ago, I always thought I’d be a high school algebra teacher until an in-classroom internship taught me otherwise. 😊

What is the best career lesson you have learned?

I believe it’s important to have a career that makes you feel fulfilled and makes you want to come to work. Life is too short!

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

My kids will be a senior and a freshman in high school this fall, so most of my free time is spent soaking up time with them!

What is one thing you can’t live without?

Family and friends (and pizza).

Where is your favorite place to be?

On a road trip anywhere with my kids.

What is the best advice you’ve ever been given?

“What will be, will be.” I’ve come to realize that life is going to happen and all you can do is go along for the ride and do the best you can!

If you could have dinner with any 3 people dead or alive who would you choose?

I would love to have dinner with my grandparents so I could meet my grandfather and have one more conversation with my grandmother. I would also like to have dinner with Chris Cagle (my favorite country music singer) to see what the man behind the lyrics is like. 😊

You have to sing karaoke what song are you picking?

If I had to sing karaoke it would have to be an on-the-spot moment with a beverage to help, so at that point, the song wouldn’t matter much!
